The Falcon 2000 CFE738 turbofans deliver 5,918 lb of thrust. Each efficient high-bypass engine is controlled by dual, redundant full authority digital engine controls. Three panel-mounted, liquid crystal engine instrument electronic displays permit continuous monitoring of all engine and system parameters, in addition to lending diagnostic intelligence.
The Falcon 2000 consumes an average of just 1320 pounds per hour at long range cruise. The burn in cruise is only eight percent higher than the Falcon 10, an early hallmark in efficient fanjet-powered designs, even though the Falcon 2000 has four times the cabin volume, three times the payload and nearly twice the range. CFE has achieved another program milestone in delivering the 400th engine to Dassault for the Falcon 2000 program.
