The Falcon 2000 series benefit from the intuitive EASy flight-deck technology developed for the Falcon aircraft and incorporated into the Falcon 7X and Falcon 900 series.
A true revolution in avionics, the EASy concept was born out of a military heritage that demands a highly intuitive and performance enhancing flight environment. To this end, the EASy flight-deck represents the vision for all present and future Falcon cockpits.
Based on the Honeywell Primus EPIC platform, EASy has been designed in cooperation by Dassault and Honeywell. The system displays information on four 14.1-inch, flat-panel LCD screens arranged in a T-shape. It allows pilots to make "heads up" data entry using a Cursor Control Device (CCD) and menu-driven selections. The Cursor Control Device developed by Dassault Aviation for EASy gives an unprecedented ease of use for the pilots, in all situations.
By limiting the time spent punching numbers into a flight management system and with the common workspace allowing the crew to better work as a team, the chance for input errors is reduced.
