These include co-ordinated heads-up/heads-down display symbology,
an update to the Flight Managerment System (7.1), enhanced take off and
go-around capability and an optional Synthetic Vision System (SVS).
EASy II also offers an enhanced navigation package with WAAS-LPV GPS
guidance, RNP/SAAAR, XM Weather integrated with INAV map and ADS-B Out
(Automatic Dependant Surveillance – Broadcast), Automatic Descent Mode
(ADM) and a Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS).
Two new communications features - FANS 1A and PM-CPDLC (Controller
Pilot Data Link Communications) - are also included to comply with
Europe’s new air traffic control mandates.
