(Orlando, Florida, October 19, 2009) – Jim Zarvos has been appointed as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dassault Aircraft Services (Western Hemisphere). In his new position, Zarvos will focus on marketing the full suite of capabilities Dassault Aircraft Services offers to all operators
"Jim’s extensive background and experience made him the right choice for this position,” said Bob Sundin, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Dassault Aircraft Services. "As a former pilot and veteran of the service industry, he fully understands the needs of our customers and what it takes to deliver first-class service.”
Before joining Dassault Aircraft Services, Zarvos served as a senior vice president with Midcoast Aviation where he managed satellite facilities in Illinois, Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Florida. He is a commercial and multi engine instrument-rated pilot and is a licensed A&P technician. He will report to Bob Sundin.
Service Center Expansions
Dassault’s Factory Owned Service Center capacity has increased dramatically over the past two years. In addition to the new service centers in Reno, Nevada and Sorocaba, Brazil, the Little Rock service center doubled its capacity and Le Bourget added an additional 50,000 square feet.
In addition to the five Factory Owned Service Centers, Falcon operators are supported by 26 Authorized Service Centers, 13 spare parts distribution centers and a Technical Center with locations in three time zones to provide 24/7 support to operators around the world.
Dassault Falcon is responsible for selling and supporting Falcon business jets throughout the world.
