Ultimate Jet by aviation journalist and pilot
David Zara almost ran out of superlatives in describing the FalconEye Combined Vision System. His demo flight took place on a blustery, wintry night that Zara says would have kept most business jets on the ground, but thanks to the FalconEye, Zara and Dassault Falcon Jet Pilots, Franco Nese and Nicolas Linehan, had near-perfect visibility. Among the adjectives in Zara’s report — “amazing, intuitive, brilliant, simple, safe and fun”. Dig into the details using the link below.

2000LXS IS GOING PLACESA landing by the numbers
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. But to drive home the point that the Falcon 2000LXS is a “Go Anywhere Business Jet,” a new video uses facts and figures. On-screen numbers support the stunning visuals of the 2000LXS landing gently at short-field, La Môle Airport, St. Tropez. Capable of landing with six passengers at 107 kt, the 2000LXS can also turn right around and whisk them off to faraway places, whether it be Moscow, Stockholm, Cairo or Casablanca.

MEETING NEW CHALLENGES
Support in the time of COVID
The current Crew Chief Blog is devoted to letting Falcon operators know what the company is doing to support them in this unprecedented time. Many members of our organization are working rotating shifts. Others are working remotely. Our entire customer service team - from our Command Center to field service and engineering support, to pilots and technicians - is hard at work and adhering to safety guidelines and best practices. Company-owned MROs are open, and of course, there’s always someone available to answer the phone.

The latest issue of
Falcon Update magazine features a fascinating description of the science behind the sound management that makes the Falcon 8X cabin the quietest in the industry. And there’s quite a lot to talk about. Using new methodologies for mapping sound and developing new materials and processes, Dassault engineers have succeeded in lowering the noise level in the 8X cabin (and others in the Falcon line) to the equivalent of a typical living room. Check out the link below for a glimpse into the quiet science of sound.

MISSIONS FOR HUMANITY
Working with government and ASF
Aviation Sans Frontières (Aviation Without Borders), an NGO based in Paris, has been applying its skills in aviation and expertise in crisis management to respond to epidemics and other humanitarian crises for 40 years. Now, Falcon has joined with ASF to aid in the fight against the Coronavirus. Company-provided Falcons are transporting emergency medical teams, supplies and equipment to and from hot zones around France. The company has also committed two Falcons to support Operation Resilience, the French government’s healthcare response group. Transport operations are already being carried out. We are proud to play our part in this effort.
