Falcons on the Rise

Falcon 6X right on schedule

The news is good. The 6X program is on track for a first flight in 2021 with deliveries beginning in 2022. The initial design phase is complete, aircraft architecture has been finalized, and we’re cutting metal for structural parts. We’ve also begun building the fuselage, and engines are being tested. If you want to dig into the details about the great work that’s being done, you can follow the links below to see some recent photos, a press release, and a video.

Annual event a video feast

For the annual NBAA Falcon Family Breakfast in October, aviation journalist Miles O’Brien returned as master of ceremonies. Through an insightful series of live conversations and videos, including Falcon customer testimonials, Miles took the audience on a whirlwind tour of the world of Dassault. Notes from the Field

Eight cities on four continents

Dassault is going places again this coming spring. Falcon M&O Seminars 2019 will begin in Denver on April 9, and end on May 21 in Mahwah, NJ. In between there will be stops in Paris, Shanghai, Dallas, Toluca, Chicago, and São Paulo. A full line up of speakers and technical sessions will cover a wide range of topics important to every Falcon operator. Dassault partners will also be on hand. As always, it’s a chance to share our passion for all things Falcon.

FalconConnect arriving soon

The year ended on a high note as the first aircraft – a Falcon 2000LXS – equipped with the new FalconConnect integrated onboard communications system was rolled out of a Dassault facility. FalconConnect is a comprehensive inflight communications system that allows passengers to talk, text and stream content seamlessly, throughout flights, even over oceans. It’s now available as an upgrade for in-service Falcons and soon on new Falcon aircraft.

Falcons fare well in aviation survey

Each year, Business Jet Traveler magazine conducts an in-depth survey to determine how, when, where and why its readers use and choose private aircraft. This year’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Survey attracted a record number of nearly 1,500 respondents. In the “Owned Aircraft” section, Dassault Falcon was rated #1 in Aircraft Value for Price Paid and #2 in Aircraft Reliability. The entire survey makes for interesting reading.
