Another perfect performance

The final Falcon 6X to join the certification testing program made its maiden flight on June 24. Aircraft #3 is the first 6X outfitted with a full interior, including in-flight entertainment and communications systems. During its two-hour flight, the aircraft climbed to Flight Level 400 and reached a cruise speed of Mach 0.85. Photographers were on hand to capture the moment. The next 6X currently waiting in the wings will go on a two-month global tour prior to certification in 2022.

STRESS RELIEF GUARANTEED

FalconCare, the no-surprises prescription

When it comes to maintenance, what’s the one word that describes what owners and operators want? Predictability. This is why Dassault created FalconCare. Originally designed in response to a customer’s request, the pay-by-the-hour program has evolved as more customers subscribed to the service and offered their feedback. Today more than 500 Falcons have been enrolled and the program offers two levels of service: FalconCare Elite and FalconCare Essential. Jean Kanayakis explains in his latest Crew Chief blog.

MISSIONS OF HOPE

Teamwork delivers virus relief

On March 20th, a Falcon 2000, operated by the French Air Force landed on a tiny outpost of France off the coast of Newfoundland, the island homes of 6,300 French citizens. On board were 9,600 doses of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine. On another continent, two Falcon 2000LXS’s owned by Dassault’s customer Bertelsmann have also been doing their part, delivering vaccines to remote locations. About a hundred of the missions were supported by Dassault Falcon Service at Paris-Le Bourget with timely delivery and professionalism.
