FalconCare, the no-surprises prescription
When it comes to maintenance, what’s the one word that describes what owners and operators want? Predictability. This is why Dassault created FalconCare. Originally designed in response to a customer’s request, the pay-by-the-hour program has evolved as more customers subscribed to the service and offered their feedback. Today more than 500 Falcons have been enrolled and the program offers two levels of service: FalconCare Elite and FalconCare Essential. Jean Kanayakis explains in his latest Crew Chief blog.

JetWave installations take off
Honeywell’s JetWave SATCOM system provides in-flight Wi-Fi that is fast, reliable and available anytime, anywhere and at any altitude. To date, Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS) has retrofitted dozens of Falcons, such as the Falcon 7X, with JetWave, the hardware that allows aircraft to connect to Inmarsat’s Jet ConneX, the fastest broadband available for business aviation and the first such service to span the globe. Close to 150 JetWave installations have been made worldwide including 35 retrofitted in the Dassault MRO network.

MISSIONS OF HOPE
Teamwork delivers virus relief
On March 20th, a Falcon 2000, operated by the French Air Force landed on a tiny outpost of France off the coast of Newfoundland, the island homes of 6,300 French citizens. On board were 9,600 doses of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine. On another continent, two Falcon 2000LXS’s owned by Dassault’s customer Bertelsmann have also been doing their part, delivering vaccines to remote locations. About a hundred of the missions were supported by Dassault Falcon Service at Paris-Le Bourget with timely delivery and professionalism.
