Every Falcon jet is designed to fly with extraordinary efficiency at every altitude. A product of optimized aerodynamics experience from more than 50 years of developing, testing and producing civil and military aircraft.
 
Now you can get in and out of smaller airfields with greater margins of safety and achieve higher efficiencies at altitude. Giving you substantial fuel savings and an environmentally cleaner footprint.

For pilots, this means incomparable maneuvrability. To paraphrase, ‘The difference between flying a Falcon and another business jet is like the difference between driving a sports car and an SUV’.
 
 
 
Our rigorous application of advanced digital tools enhances every aspect of our aircraft’s design allowing for external design that minimizes drag.
In fact, Dassault engineers create designs very near to the aerodynamic ideal.
 
For example, the Falcon 50 was one of the first executive jets with a supercritical wing. Featuring a flatter upper surface, curved lower surface and an upper trailing edge accented with a downward curve, it increases flying efficiency in the transonic range and helps lower fuel costs.
 
Our most advanced Falcon, the 7X, features an optimized high-transonic design with a higher aspect ratio, greater wing sweep and tall winglets that ensures still more efficient high-speed performance. The new airfoil provides a double-digit improvement in lift/draft ratio (compared to previous generation Falcons) while the simpler structure affords weight and cost savings.
