Bruno Ferry

Bruno Ferry has been a Dassault Aviation test pilot since 2014. He has been responsible for flight testing new civil and military aircraft and systems as well as performing acceptance, demonstration and ferry flights. 

He has accumulated 6,300 hours, including 2,500 flight test hours and 2,500 hours on fighter aircraft. Ferry is currently participating in the flight test program for the new Falcon 6X ultra-widebody business jet as project test pilot.

Prior to joining Dassault, Ferry served as a fighter pilot and flight test pilot at the French flight test center in Istres, including four years as its headmaster and as flight testing deputy commander and chief test pilot for the DGA, France’s defense procurement agency. 

Ferry has studied at the French War College and served as a staff officer to the Military Joint Staff in Paris from 2006 to 2008. He retired from the French Air Force at the end of 2012 after a distinguished 26-year career. 

He has a Master Engineering degree from Ecole de l’Air, a French War College certificate and a University Master of Science degree. He is interested in just about anything with wings, with hobbies including aerobatic and flight instruction in light aircraft and a passion for astronomy and beekeeping. 


Fabrice Valette

Fabrice Valette has been a Dassault Aviation test pilot since 2010 and Dassault’s Chief Test Pilot at its Istres flight test center since 2019. He has been responsible for flight testing new civil and military aircraft and systems as well as performing acceptance, demonstration and ferry flights. 

He has accumulated 6,000 hours including 1,500 hours in the Rafale and 2,700 hours in a range of Falcon models from the Falcon 10 to the 8X. During his naval career he made 450 carrier landings. Valette is currently participating in the flight test program for the new Falcon 6X ultra-widebody business jet as project test pilot.

Prior to joining Dassault, Valette served as a fighter pilot in the French Navy and as commanding officer of the Navy flight experimental center detachment in Istres and later at the Navy flight experimental center in Mont de Marsan. During his naval career he was executive officer and later commanding officer of the 12th squadron of Rafale fighters.  

He is a 1993 graduate of the French Naval Academy with a degree in Engineering and a fighter pilot graduate of the US Navy.
