BORDEAUX MAKES HISTORY AGAIN
Another milestone in Dassault’s long history took place on June 19th: the successful first flight of the largest-cabin, longest-range (7,500 NM), most technologically advanced Falcon yet—the company’s new flagship, the Falcon 10X.
NEXT STEPS
THE ROAD TO CERTIFICATION
Now, thanks to the efforts of thousands of Dassault employees and partners, an intensive flight-test campaign will commence, eventually involving four aircraft. Flight deck and cabin systems will all be evaluated for functionality and reliability.
A GAME-CHANGER
MOVING THE INDUSTRY FORWARD
“It is a reflection of the dedication and skill of our engineering, production, and flight teams and the quality of our global partners.” – Eric Trappier, Chairman & CEO, Dassault Aviation
This was the first real-world test of Dassault’s new-generation Digital Flight Control System (DFCS), part of the most advanced flight deck in business aviation—Dassault’s NeXus. Of new FalconEye® Enhanced Vision System features. And of the first all-composite wing in a business jet.
It was also validation of Rolls-Royce’s Pearl 10X engine, featuring its Advance2 engine core, the most efficient core available in the business aviation sector. The Pearl 10X delivers outstanding low-noise and emissions performance while enabling premium airport accessibility.
