Dassault Immersive Practical Training
Dassault Aviation developed the Dassault Training Academy to offer customers a comprehensive portfolio of training options, from entry-into-service through the entire life cycle of their aircraft. Our training programs are EASA/CAAC GCAA/DGCA/CASA certified. The Dassault Training Academy proudly celebrates a decade of creating the best prepared maintenance experts in the industry.
Train At The Factory, Where Falcons Are Born
Dassault Aviation introduced Practical Training in 2007 to complement theoretical instruction provided by Dassault’s Authorized Training Providers, and in response to feedback from Falcon operators and Authorized Service Centers.
Since November 2013, Dassault Aviation has received regulatory approval from EASA to operate as a Part 147 Training Center, the first authorization to be granted to a business jet manufacturer. Since then, it has trained mover 1,500 technicians for customer flight
departments and its own MRO network.
The training permits them to obtain EASA certification for their Part 66 license. Located in Mérignac and Le Bourget in France, Dassault Training Academy offers the following accredited two-week, modelspecific courses for technicians on all Falcon type rating (except Falcon 10/20/200).

Falcon Immersive Practical Training
Dassault Aviation has developed customized 3D virtual reality technology: the Falcon Immersive Practical Training.
It is intended as a supplement for engineers and technicians undertaking certified Practical Training for Falcon business jets.
One of the key benefits of using 3D virtual reality is it allows those taking the course, to more readily see and practice on the different parts of the airframe and systems.
Any parts or components, including wiring, tubing and fittings, can be brought into view by simply stripping away the covering panels and structure – in virtual reality – to reveal the inner workings of the aircraft.
The trainee can roam around the aircraft.
Falcon Immersive Practical Training was introduced into the Practical Training syllabus on the Falcon 900LX, Falcon 2000S/LXS, Falcon 7X, Falcon 8X and Falcon 6X.
