Teterboro, New Jersey

John Rosanvallon, President and CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet, today received the “Lifetime Aviation Industry Leader Award” during the 16th Annual Living Legends of Aviation award ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The award honors “Remarkable people of extraordinary accomplishment in aviation” and was hosted by actor John Travolta. At the event, several aerospace leaders were recognized including Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos.

His first assignment in the United States took place from 1979 to 1984. After that, Rosanvallon served in several executive capacities within Dassault Aviation from 1985 through 1994. He returned to the United States in 1995 and was named President of Dassault Falcon Jet in 1996 and CEO in 2003.

Rosanvallon is a recipient of the French Légion d’Honneur and Ordre National du Mérite. He is on the Board of Directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, (where he served as Chairman in 2011); the Corporate Angel Network and the French-American Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the Advisory Council of the National Business Aviation Association; the Board of Trustees of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and the Wings Club of New York as well a member of the Davos World Economic Forum and the Wall Street Journal CEO Council.
