Dassault Aviation is a family company. A family with a heritage of integrity and excellence. We have and always will invest in innovation and technology to an extraordinary level. And we will always be the best in everything we offer our customers.
Of all the large-cabin jets on the market, the Falcon 8X alone provides a unique combination of efficiency, flexibility, long range and quiet, spacious comfort. All perfectly balanced to create a flying experience that exceeds the expectations of the most demanding customers. It incorporates Dassault’s considerable experience in fighter-derived flight control; ultra-efficient, long-range performance; sound reduction technology and adaptable interior spaces.

The 8X features our longest cabin. Which gives you more choices for optimization, so you can make it your own unique experience. Opt for a comfortable three-lounge cabin with a shower aft and crew rest provisions forward. Choose a shorter entryway to add more lounge space. Or select a large entryway with lie-flat crew quarters or grand galley. Let your personal taste and our design team be your guides.

The Falcon 8X cabin offers high-speed connectivity, including a Ka-band satcom solution to ensure nonstop, in-flight communications and internet access, even over oceans. The FalconHD+ in-flight system distributes high-definition audio and video content. Passengers control all cabin functions such as lighting, temperature and window shades through side-ledge controls or through an easy-to-use mobile app.
Up to 32 extra-large windows fill the cabin with natural light and provide panoramic views. Advanced cabin air filtration and circulation keeps you healthier, with air quality that is 10 times better than minimum requirements, and continuously refreshed. The 8X also incorporates superior sound-proofing technology, which makes it the quietest cabin in the industry.
The low noise level in the Falcon 8X cabin is remarkable. It’s a whisper-quiet 49 dB SIL, making it the quietest in the industry. Noise is a key factor in overall cabin comfort. That’s why we’ve invested heavily in research and development of soundproofing technologies that are far ahead of the industry.
Then there’s Falcon air management technology. It’s so advanced, it far exceeds minimum air quality requirements by 10X, with cabin air refreshment 10X faster than modern office buildings. The impact on health and wellbeing is substantial. You’ll feel the difference when you arrive at your destination fully rested and energized for whatever awaits you.
The Falcon 8X advanced filtration system option improves air quality even further. It uses HEPA/ULPA filters*, found in hospital intensive care units and operating rooms, which collect 99.97% of all air particles, including 0.06 to 0.2 µm particles** such as: COVID-19, MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV.

Not only does the Falcon 8X surround passengers in comfort, its advanced technologies, from breakthrough digital flight control systems to near-perfect aerodynamics, create a superior flying experience.
Dassault’s proprietary Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) is born from over 40 years of fighter jet heritage. Derived from the same system used in our world-renowned Rafale fighter, it commands flight control surfaces to ensure peak performance, efficiency and a smoother ride. Advanced flight envelope protection adds an extra margin of safety.

The 8X features the business jet world’s first Combined Vision System, FalconEye®. It provides flight crews unprecedented situational awareness in all weather conditions, day or night. It allows for safer approaches to challenging airfields with difficult surroundings. The net effect is more mission flexibility.
When designing the Falcon 8X, Dassault rethought all major structures and systems, adapting and optimizing them into an integrated, efficient airframe. Re-designed wing architecture is lighter and provides more room for fuel. New winglets further reduce drag to boost efficiency.
The Falcon 8X cockpit is equipped with the latest generation of Dassault's award-winning avionics suite, EASy III. A powerhouse of technology, it maximizes crew performance and safety, with an ergonomic, t-shaped layout that provides optimal access to instruments. EASy III also features Honeywell’s next-generation 3D color weather radar system which provides enhanced turbulence detection capability for smoother, safer operations.
The 8X is up to 20% more fuel-efficient than any other aircraft in the ultra-long range segment. Much of the credit goes to the three highly efficient Pratt & Whitney PW307D engines which power the Falcon 8X. Each engine providing thrust at 6,722 lb / 29.90 kN while reducing emissions to levels well below the latest standards.
With a maximum range of 6,450 nm (11,945 km) and outstanding short-field performance, the 8X links important city pairs nonstop, even those with challenging airports where competitors cannot operate or face access restrictions. It is capable of timesaving, direct flights between Asia and North America (Beijing-New York, Shanghai-Seattle), between Asia and Europe (Hong Kong-London), and between Europe and South America (London-São Paulo).
Range with 8 Pax, 3 crew at M.80
Steep approach angles and strong climb-out gradients are no problem for the Falcon 8X. Nor are hot and high conditions. And it delivers superior range from both. From London City’s 3,934 ft (1,200 m) runway, it can fly nonstop to Mumbai or Chicago. Or departing Eagle, Colorado, an elevation above 6,500 ft (1,980 m), it can fly nonstop to Geneva, Switzerland.
The Falcon 8X can land at 85% of its maximum takeoff weight. That means you can fuel up at home base and make a short hop before flying a longer leg of more than 4,600 nm (8,519 km) without refueling. It is a capability that can save you money on home-based fuel and also boost your mission flexibility.
Thanks to its three-engine safety factor, which shortens transoceanic routes, the Falcon 8X can fly you wherever you are going in less time. Its trijet configuration also contributes to the 8X’s slow and stable approach speed — a mere 107 knots (198 kph). And its three-engine performance margins allow takeoffs from shorter runways at faster climb rates.
Incorporated and refined by Dassault on the Rafale fighter and state-of-the-art unmanned combat air vehicle, the Neuron, flaperons are active, high-speed deflection control surfaces similar to ailerons. Flaperons combine the lift and drag producing effects of flaps with the roll control authority of ailerons.
Integrated with the DFCS, flaperons are always active, enhancing roll authority, but their benefits are most apparent on approach, especially those where a steep descent profile is required.
Flaperons controlled by the DFCS permit a drag increase on approach while maintaining a high lift coefficient. When desired, the pilot can fly a steep approach angle without an increase in approach speed. Even for normal glideslopes, the objective is to approach as slowly as possible, with the best control possible and good forward visibility. Flaperons augment handling all the way down to touchdown for increased performance, control and peace of mind.
Every inch – every centimeter – of the Falcon 8X is designed to enhance your travel experience. From longer range to a longer, more comfortable cabin, we measure our success by what we contribute to yours.
The Falcon 8X comes with an award-winning, worldwide support network, including FalconResponse, Dassault’s suite of AOG support services committed to doing Whatever It Takes to keep you flying. When necessary, two FalconResponse aircraft can provide alternative passenger lift — an industry first.
