Not only does the Falcon 6X surround passengers in unsurpassed space and comfort, its advanced technologies, from breakthrough digital systems to near-perfect aerodynamics, create a flying experience like no other. Smooth. Precise. And safe.
The Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) commands all flight control surfaces, automatically ensuring peak performance and efficiency at all times. Its auto-trim function eliminates the need for constant pilot input. And flight envelope protection avoids exceeding structural speed limits and stalls. Hazard avoidance is enhanced and go-arounds are easier and safer. Flying a Falcon with DFCS imposes a far lower workload on the pilot more than any other aircraft.
Every pilot aims to be smooth on the controls. A smart Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) makes even the very best of them smoother, harmonizing control inputs around the aircraft’s three axes, augmenting pitch and roll damping, as well as yaw stability. On autopilot, the DFCS is constantly working to smooth control response as the aircraft encounters turbulence, making a pilot’s job easier and a passenger’s journey more comfortable.
A large, powerful rudder provides responsive control during both gusty, crosswind takeoffs and approaches. Nose wheel steering is integrated into the Digital Flight Control System, for faster and smoother reactions to side gusts on the ground and more precise tracking of the runway centerline.
The DFCS is a harmonious integration of all control surfaces, yielding a smoother, more precise flight. Its efficiency and safety benefits will delight pilots and passengers alike.

The 6X also features the business jet world’s first Combined Vision System, FalconEye©. It provides flight crews unprecedented situational awareness in all weather conditions, day or night. FalconEye adds a significant margin of safety for all airport operations, but especially at challenging airfields with difficult surroundings. The net effect is more mission flexibility.
The Falcon 6X cockpit is equipped with the very latest generation of Dassault's award-winning avionics suite, EASy III. Its enhanced design introduces several new features based on input from Falcon operators — for instance, the ability to quickly power up and power down all systems. Innovations like this allow pilots more time for mission-critical decision making.
FalconSphere is the Dassault all-in-one suite Electronic Flight Bag that encompasses a great variety of features apps customized for each Falcon, allowing pilots and flights ops to prepare and manage their missions. This solution yields a substantial time and cost savings and a considerable improvement in operating safety and efficiency while providing a unique user experience.
A combination of power and dependability, the Pratt & Whitney PW812D engine sets new standards in aircraft performance, fuel efficiency and sustainability. Its low-noise design shares the same proven technology as Pratt & Whitney’s award-winning commercial engines. And its advanced design makes it easier to maintain, so there’s less aircraft downtime.
An aircraft designed to provide uncommon performance across a variety of missions needs a power plant that is ready to go the distance. For the Falcon 6X, Dassault turned to long time partner, Pratt & Whitney Canada and selected an engine with a proven track record in commercial operation, coupled with refinements that make it ideal for the high-flying, fast-moving world of long-range business aviation.
The Falcon 6X is powered by a new variant of Pratt & Whitney Canada’s ground-breaking PurePower® family of geared turbofan commercial engines, the PW812D turbofan.
The 13,500 lb (60.00 kN) thrust PW812D builds on advanced common core technology that has been employed in 16 PurePower engine applications. Improvement in fuel burn, environmental emissions, engine noise and operating costs make it an ideal choice for the long-range Falcon 6X. The engine sets a new "green" engine standard for emissions with the advanced TALON™ X combustor. Its low-noise design and low vibration levels will substantially reduce cabin noise for a more comfortable passenger experience.
Thanks to its robust design, exceptional maintainability, and advanced diagnostics capabilities, the PurePower PW812D engine will deliver best-in-class availability and dispatch reliability to operators. This will be coupled with the PurePower PW800 family’s enhanced service offering tailored to operator needs.
The 6X has a maximum range of 5,500 nm (10,186 km) and a maximum speed of Mach .90. It’s also capable of flying Mach .85 for nonstop flights up to 5,100 nm (9,445 km). Imagine the time savings flying nonstop between the most frequented international cities. Los Angeles to Geneva, Beijing to San Francisco, or Moscow to Singapore.
Range with 8 Pax, 3 crew at M.80
The 6X, like all Falcons, gives you access to more airports than competitors, including steep-approach fields like Lugano or London City. Even with a partial fuel load, it can operate at airports with runways less than 3,000 feet. And because it can land with nearly a full tank, you can make a short hop to an interim airport and continue to an overseas destination without having to refuel.
Like all Falcons, the 6X wing is optimized for both high- and low-speed performance. In fact, the Falcon 6X’s typical approach speed is up to 10 knots slower than most jets with comparable range. The 6X also introduces a new flaperon control surface which greatly increases takeoff and landing control, and therefore safety, especially on steep approaches.
The 6X’s maximum range is 5,500 nm (10,186 km). Its maximum speed is Mach .90. It is capable of flying at Mach .85 for non-stop flights up to 5,100 nm (9,445 km), including Moscow to New York, Paris to Beijing, Los Angeles to London. In addition, the 6X is very stable at the speeds and angles required at smaller airstrips, making takeoffs and landings safer and quicker.
With its robust airframe and rugged landing gear, the Falcon 6X offers mission flexibility few aircraft can achieve. For example, because it can land at 85% of its maximum takeoff weight, the 6X will let you make a short hop from Chicago Executive to New York, then cruise at Mach .85 to London City. It’s an advantage that saves time and can save you money by avoiding more costly fuel while “on the road”.
Incorporated and refined by Dassault on the Rafale fighter and state-of-the-art unmanned combat air vehicle, the Neuron, flaperons are active, high-speed deflection control surfaces similar to ailerons. Flaperons combine the lift and drag producing effects of flaps with the roll control authority of ailerons.
Integrated with the DFCS, flaperons are always active, enhancing roll authority, but their benefits are most apparent on approach, especially those where a steep descent profile is required.
Flaperons controlled by the DFCS permit a drag increase on approach while maintaining a high lift coefficient. When desired, the pilot can fly a steep approach angle without an increase in approach speed. Even for normal glideslopes, the objective is to approach as slowly as possible, with the best control possible and good forward visibility. Flaperons augment handling all the way down to touchdown for increased performance, control and peace of mind.
How does the ultra widebody Falcon 6X measure up? The numbers add up to one high performing, highly comfortable business jet like no other.
